Engagement Session - TASTE THERAPIE

I am beyond excited to be able to share these with you!

My love and I had the honor of working with Barrie Anne Photography a few weeks ago on our engagement session. Let me tell you…what an amazing experience!

We were unsure at first if we were going to do engagement photos. Once we thought about it, this is a special time in our lives that we definitely want to document. We will only be engaged once. Our wedding planning process so far has been amazing, and I wish I could keep planning it for a lifetime. Working with Barrie has absolutely made this time in our lives even that much more special!

Let me tell you a little bit about what I wore, since of course that is one of the most important things!

It was important to me to keep it light, airy and casual, yet classic and simple. We wanted to do a session that felt like us and who we were as a couple. That sounds simple, but I agonized over our wardrobes.

I thought of us doing a wardrobe change. Being late November in the northeast, I knew it would be chilly. I decided to stay all casual, and started with a light gray denim base. Of course, I went straight to my friends at Estate Boutique who set me up with some amazing AG denim from their denim bar (thank you!). Then, I knew I wanted a light, airy soft sweater. I found the perfect one at American Eagle. For the important shoe choice, I went with my favorite go to shoe in my wardrobe, my Steve Madden Carrson sandals.
