Everyone knows that olive oil bottles make amazing wedding favors! Make them more amazing with your own DIY wedding favor tags.
Especially, if you are going for that tuscan theme like we were. I love the idea of giving your guests something that they can actually use. As soon as I decided on this route, I started my research! (What I do best…obsessively look at gorgeous images.) Of course, there was no shortage of amazing inspiration for olive oil favors and favor tags!
These were my inspiration. Funny they are both from Michele Beckwith…love her!

I started thinking that I could fill my own bottles, but I needed a simpler route.
That was when I went local. I found this amazing local shop in Doylestown called The Tubby Olive. They were the one. I chose their Tuscan Herb Olive Oil (you MUST try, it’s also organic). The ode to our tuscan style was spot on. Also, the fact that we went to tuscany on our honeymoon was just perfect. Even if you don’t need favors, hit up this place. Their olive oil is so delicious.
I wanted to add a custom organic touch, so I ordered the bottles blank. I also wanted to save some money, so I decided to make my own favor tags.
These are the real wedding results! See how I did it below.
Everything I Used
– Avery 22802 Labels
– Quality Printer, Set to ‘Best’
– Ribbon or String
– Custom tag template
– Downloadable font
Here’s what I did, super easy. The tough part is perfecting the template and layout!
1. I went straight to Avery and found a label shape that I knew would work. I loved with Avery 22802.
2. I knew that I wanted a soft grey script font. I found Creative Market and decided to download a font. It’s inexpensive and you get a custom look. I landed on beautylove font. Find it here. So so beautiful! I ended up using it on everything.
3. I kept it simple and created my template on Word. This part took the longest and the part I hope to shorten for you. I went to work perfecting my layout. I wanted a double sided tag, so I created one template for the front, and one separate for the back. If you have a custom wedding logo or monogram, feel free to add that into the space provided on the template. My monogram has been removed from the template.
4. Once my template was perfect, I started printing. Be sure to set your printer to its “best” setting. To achieve the double sided, feed in the front. Then flip the paper, re-feed upside down and print again. I ended up printing one completed page at a time until I was done.
5. After they are printed, all you need to do is tie them onto the bottles. Recruit a few bridesmaids to have a girls night and tagging party!
This is my free template! To get the template, fill out the form:
Your email will never be sold, and we will absolutely not spam you.
Note: For the font to show correctly on your screen, you will need to have the beautylove font. Otherwise, you can use any font of your choosing and replace the text.
This template is for personal use only, and not for commercial use. These may not be sold, recreated or reformatted and offered on another website, blog or for sale.

Printing the tags is not the tough part, it is the template. I spent time centering, coloring, spacing, expanding, double spacing, making sure you could read it…ah! So please feel free to utilize my work for your wedding to speed up the process. All you need to do is plug in your own details.
I hope this helps you easily create custom DIY tags for your wedding!
Hope you enjoy! xo
